My newest collage is complete! This is the landscape collage I started as my demonstration at the Finding Her Voice art show at the Dutch Gallery a month ago. It feels good to finish it.

Finding Her Voice

My recent art show was a wonderful experience! I was able to meet new artists I admire and hope to get to know better. I was surrounded by beautiful artwork and got a lot of positive feedback and encouragement as I demonstrated my collage process.

The best part of the experience was viewing the film Who Does She Think She Is? for the first time. If you haven't seen it, you must make it a priority. It touched me deeply as a woman and as an artist.

My upcoming art show!

I'm thrilled to be part of this Who Does She Think She Is? event happening this weekend at the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas! I even get to do a live artist demonstration this Saturday, April 10th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. I've decided I'll work on a collage during my demonstration.

There is a lot of great art included in this show, and I'm honored to be part of an event that celebrates women artists.
